Stadler enters Guinness Book of Records for battery train

Stadler has set a World record for the distance travelled by a battery train in battery-only mode. Stadler has set a record to be officially entered in the Guinness Book of World Records for the distance travelled by a battery train. A three-car FLIRT Akku unit travelled on the route from Berlin to Warnemünde with independent technical consultants onboard and reached a distance of exactly 224 km. The trial happened in wintry conditions with the temperature around freezing point.
