Helen Wylde, managing director of Lumo, has resigned. According to Lumo's parent company FirstGroup, Helen has opted for a position outside the railroad industry. Helen joined First Rail in March 2020 and led the launch of a new open access operator on the East Coast. Lumo started passenger transportation in October. Phil Cameron, FirstRail's Commercial Project Director, served as Interim Managing Director and worked with Lumo during the launch phase to ensure continuity until a new CEO was found. Andy Mellors, non-franchise business, Managing Director of First Rail, commented: I thank Helen and wish her future success. "
