Drs to sell more heratige locos

Direct Rail Services has confirmed that it will continue to sell historic locomotives.

Some Class 37 locomotives (37603, 37604, 37609) will be put up for sale at a new auction along with some Class 57 locomotives (57004, 57008, 57809, 57010, 57017, 57712).

In addition to the locomotive, two DVT vehicles (82101 and 82126) and DBSO9704-9710.

As before, items can be bid through the DRS process. For more information on bidding, please visit the DRS website. The bidding process will continue until February 3rd, following the sale of Classes 20, 37, and 57 in October 2021.

Chris Connelly, Deputy CEO and Rail Director of NTS, said:

"We are more efficient and environmentally friendly Class 88 and Class 68 locomotives to ensure that rail freight transport is as environmentally friendly as possible and continues to emit much less CO2 compared to roads. Use the.
